The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...
The System and Arch are optional added filters, for example System could be "redhat", "redhat-7.2", "mandrake" or "gnome", Arch could be "i386" or "src", etc. depending on your system.
This package contains all the basic i2c code, as well as a few bus drivers (both the algorithm and the adapter drivers). There are no real chip drivers, so on its own it is not very useful. Lots of chip drivers, as well as more bus drivers and some additional basic code (for SMBus emulation over i2c) and some i2c debugging tools are found in the lm_sensors package at http://www.lm-sensors.nu. Another place at which I2C is used is the video4linux project.
