The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...

This module "PUBLISH"es information when a new user registers at this server (e.g. when "save()" is called) to users, which have subscribed for the reg-info for this user. This module can "SUBSCRIBE" for information at another server, so it will receive "NOTIFY"-requests, when the information about a user changes. And finally, it can process received "NOTIFY" requests and it will update the local registry accordingly.
